BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES CPLC offers outpatient behavioral health services to families, adults, children, and adolescents; shelter and services for women and children who are victims of domestic violence, HIV behavioral health treatment and pre-natal care to South Phoenix women.CENTRO DE LA FAMILIA & VIA DE AMISTADThe program provides outpatient behavioral health services to a myriad of families, adults, children, and adolescents. Clients receive the following services: psychiatric evaluations, medication management, counseling services, marriage and family counseling, group counseling and case management for children and adults. Via also provides individual counseling. Specific substance abuse groups are offered in both English and Spanish up to three (3) times a week. A total of one thousand six hundred (1,600) clients utilized the services.CORAZONCorazon's purpose is to deliver Adult Residential Alcohol/Drug Abuse Counseling Treatment Services to individuals and families in the community. The services include assistance in the self-administration of medication and counseling services in the form of individual, group, family counseling, and case management services. Transitional living and aftercare services are available. Supported employment services are provided in the form of pre-job training/educational and development, job coaching and employment supports. Specific substance abuse groups are offered in English and Spanish. Three hundred fifty (350) clients received services.RYAN WHITE CARE SERVICESThe program has two basic components, Behavioral Health Treatment and Targeted Outreach to the Latino community. The vast majority of the clients that we provide services to are Latino, individuals who are predominantly Spanish-speaking and who are uninsured or underinsured. The behavioral health component provided services both in group and individual sessions.DE COLORESA program dedicated to women and children of domestic violence by providing shelter and services that include: twenty-four (24) hour information and referral hot line, shelter and meals, individual and group counseling, case management, legal advocacy, COMADRES follow-up program, computer and life building skills, homework assistance, and the Ahijado program (for children three (3) years and older) to enhance the journey of healing, to women and children, who have suffered from Domestic Violence. They learn about the cycle of violence through an assessment process, are able to work on issues that enhance their lifestyles. The primary focus is the monolingual Spanish-speaking women and children. In 2004, three hundred thirty nine (339) women and children were provided shelter and counseling.
